Mother Teresa was a Catholic nun and missionary who dedicated her life to serving the poor and needy. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 for her humanitarian work.

Thomas Becket was the Archbishop of Canterbury, but in 1170 he was assassinated. He was killed by four knights who were believed to be acting on the orders of King Henry II. This event had significant political and religious consequences in medieval England.
